What's Happening?

Well, so far recently we have been super busy!!!
Cupcake is getting adopted.. We met an amazing man recently who we have decided would be the best daddy for our little Cupcake!!! She is almost ready to go to her new home and we are all very excited..

As some of you have noticed on our website we have gotten in quite a few new dogs and a new cat and several others have been adopted..

We recently took in 4 dogs from the City of Albuquerque Shelter. We took in Casey, Harley, Milo, and Ashley.. Ashley is a little deaf girl who they really didn't think would be adopted, Casey is a big girl and seemed pretty shy in the kennel area and of course she is black (as most know black dogs don't get adopted easily), Harley failed a section of her temperament test (we still don't remember why though- she has proven to be perfect), and Milo was returned to the City of Albuquerque Shelter after being adopted from them a few months prior- due to his size (he is going to be a big boy).. So we brought them home, they have joined the pack, and there have been no issues at all..

We also have a couple dogs that we can't post yet but will as soon as we get the OK..

The cat we recently took in is a small kitten with no tail! My kids were walking home from the park and this kitten started following them!! They tried chasing him "home" but to no avail-- he went and laid in the street so of course they got scared and didn't want him to get run over so they brought him home.. After all, we are a rescue!!! So we talked to people in the area he was found and posted fliers and nothing.. So now he is up for adoption!! He is a very cute boy..

So those are a few newer dogs that we got in..

Boomer our foster we have had for over a year through Chihuahua Rescue has also found his forever home and is doing super!!! His new family love him to death!!

Schnitzel has also been adopted.. It is still a trial run though but we are hoping that they fall in love and it turns into a forever home..

So hopefully all of these babies will find their forever homes-but as Boomer shows when we make a commitment to these animals it is until they are adopted-- we never euthanize for space-- they just live at the property with us in our home until they find their forever home...
